Ambition for adults, men and women
You are now a young man with responsibilities, are you sure that you want to work in the field of technology during or upon completion of studies ? Well , with rapid career growth and high salaries, you are set for it
What skills do you need to study computer science / information technology?
Do you like numbers and think logically ? If most of your answers are yes, then computer science might be the perfect major for you . You may not master one of the required skills well, but during your studies you will practice and improve it . The skills you will learn during your computer science studies are not only useful in a computer science major , problem solving and analytical thinking skills are skills that may be useful in all areas of life..
1- You can solve problems :
Generally, having a strong problem-solving ability will be of great help when you are studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology . Imagine looking at a problem, breaking it down into smaller parts, solving those parts and then putting them back together systematically and meticulously ( often within a short period of time ). As you can imagine, when you are innovative it will be useful for tackling complex problems . Think like a computer . In fact, simulate a computer . It can be a difficult thing, but once you become more familiar with it, you will be able to visualize solutions to solve the most difficult problems.
2- Love dealing with numbers :
Computer science involves a lot of calculations and numbers , so you will be of great use in this field if you have a particularly strong knowledge in probability, statistics, and the complex mathematics involved in all the necessary arithmetic operations . These skills will be a very important factor to help you deal with algorithmic problems, commands and functions in the field of computer science .
3- Think logically :
To do well in computer science, you will need the ability to think logically . You have to be able to think about computer systems and understand how different parts interact with each other so that you know the right decisions to make and the consequences that come with them. .
